Ethnic Origins:
Bantus (Baganda, Banyankoles, Banyoro and Toro) are the most numerous and live in the South of the country. Nilotic people (Acholi, Karamojong and Langi) live in the North. Tribes of Uganda are classified in five major language groups: Bantu, Nilotics, Madi - Muro, Highland Nilotics and Nilo - Hermits. There are many refugees from Rwanda, Sudan and Congo.
